Lost Morals

Over the past ten years I have seen a dramatic change in society's personal morals. After witnessing the way people are treating one another and themselves, I decided to write an article to help bring attention to this issue. I am finding that our moral decisions play a big role in economical stability and general well being. I don't have any facts to really back these acquisitions but let me attempt to elaborate my concerned theory.

Growing up, I always wanted to do the right thing. It didn't matter if I was going to make money or not. All I ever wanted was to help people, be friendly, build trust and live a normal life whatever that might be. When I became an adult, I stepped into the business world and was shocked to see how cut throat people can be. I started realizing who my true friends where and made some changes. After taking a close look, I found out that there was only a very small handful of people I could really trust. When I spoke to other people regarding this issue, everyone agreed that trust and good old fashion morals seem to be nonexistent. Discovering this lead me to believe that this was part of growing up and an eye opener to "The Real World". I had accepted it and pushed forward in my pursuit of the American Dream. Day after day I came in contact with liars, thefts, cheaters, corruptions and just regular people that would say, "Fuc% it, who cares", and do whatever they want. These kind of attitudes play a role in everyone's life and the people around them. If we as a society keep moving down this road, it's only hurting us.

So here it is.....
Do something nice for someone everyday
Don't liter, just take the time to walk it to the trash
Respect yourself and others
Drive safe & slow down
Smile
Help
Start making the "GOOD" decision regardless of means
Etc....the list goes on....

We make up the community we live in therefore our decisions are everything. I can't express how important it is for YOU to change for the better. Share this article and start living it. Help change our society's morals for the better. It's up to you to make a difference. I continue to do everything I can and need the help of others to fight.
