Lost Morals

Over the past ten years I have seen a dramatic change in society's personal morals. After witnessing the way people are treating one another and themselves, I decided to write an article to help bring attention to this issue. I am finding that our moral decisions play a big role in economical stability and general well being. I don't have any facts to really back these acquisitions but let me attempt to elaborate my concerned theory.

Growing up, I always wanted to do the right thing. It didn't matter if I was going to make money or not. All I ever wanted was to help people, be friendly, build trust and live a normal life whatever that might be. When I became an adult, I stepped into the business world and was shocked to see how cut throat people can be. I started realizing who my true friends where and made some changes. After taking a close look, I found out that there was only a very small handful of people I could really trust. When I spoke to other people regarding this issue, everyone agreed that trust and good old fashion morals seem to be nonexistent. Discovering this lead me to believe that this was part of growing up and an eye opener to "The Real World". I had accepted it and pushed forward in my pursuit of the American Dream. Day after day I came in contact with liars, thefts, cheaters, corruptions and just regular people that would say, "Fuc% it, who cares", and do whatever they want. These kind of attitudes play a role in everyone's life and the people around them. If we as a society keep moving down this road, it's only hurting us.

So here it is.....
Do something nice for someone everyday
Don't liter, just take the time to walk it to the trash
Respect yourself and others
Drive safe & slow down
Smile
Help
Start making the "GOOD" decision regardless of means
Etc....the list goes on....

We make up the community we live in therefore our decisions are everything. I can't express how important it is for YOU to change for the better. Share this article and start living it. Help change our society's morals for the better. It's up to you to make a difference. I continue to do everything I can and need the help of others to fight.

Pass To the Finest Nightclubs

Standing in any line can be frustrating and a high nightclub cover can change your party spirit real quick. There are a couple of ways to avoid standing in a long line. In most cases, it’s harder for gentlemen to get into a nightclub than it is for ladies to get in. Why? Clubs want to cover their floors with women who attract males. This way, more males will be tempted to spend more money, in turn is great for any nightclub venue. Remember that a nightclub is first and foremost a business looking to make a profit.

1. Contact the Venue

This could sound like an obvious tip, but contacting a person who works at the venue before you arrive is a good idea. This can be accomplished by calling the nightclub manager during the daytime, and requesting to be placed on a guest list. A few managers might not place you on a list without a monetary compensation, but most venues will accommodate your request.

Some venues might require a bottle or a table reservation if you want to get on a guest list. To do this, gather a few friends and collectively order a bottle or two. Once you arrive at the venue, inform the bouncer or doorman that you are on the guest list and he should let you inside.

2. Break-Up the Group

If you can’t get on a guest list, it might be a great idea to break up your group. Keep in mind that large set of males aren’t likely to get into a venue easily. So, find a lady or two and add her to your group. Split into smaller sets of three if you are part of an ample group. It’s forever a good idea to have girls who look fantastic included in your group.

3. Dress to Impress

You don’t have to drop your whole paycheck purchasing new attire in order get into a hot Nightclub, but you do have to have style. Abide by the nightclub’s dress code (listed on most venue websites), make sure to look your finest, and try to be stylish. Nightclubs want people who fit the association shape, so take every effort to look good.

4. Make Friends with the Doorman

Doormen hear it all. Every excuse, cover, and threat in the book has been used several times and the doorman knows them all. Don’t try to threaten a doorman, don’t use the “don’t you know who I am?” line, and don’t be mean. The doorman holds the key to the nightclub and if you want to get in, don’t anger the doorman. Be respectful on understand that it’s the doorman’s job to establish a good crowd and not let in untack people.

Choosing A Nightclub or Bar?

Bars and nightclubs are related in a lot of methods. Choosing between a bar and a nightclub is a really a thing of personal preference. If you aren’t sure which place to visit this evening, take a stare at these useful hints. You will soon decide on a venue that sounds more appealing than the other.

Your Current Style

Dance clubs typically have strict dress codes. If you want to visit a nightclub, you will have to dress to impress. If you don’t feel like dressing up, a bar is a better bet, since bars don't in most cases have a dress code.

Your Mood

Bars are casual areas full of comfortable booths, wooden bar stools, and good cheer. You won’t get a dance floor at most bars, but you could hear a live band or Pandora radio. Dance clubs are filled with loud music, strobe lights, and lots of people. You may not get a seat at a nightclub unless you contact in advance to reserve a table or area.

Your Budget

In most instances, bars are far-off far less expensive than nightclubs. Clubs tend to charge a door cover, which can lay a hole in your budget from the start. Bars rarely charge a door cover. In addition, alcoholic beverages at a club will be pricier than at a bar.

Your Patience Level

Unless you can get on a guest list, you may have to wait in line to get into a nightclub. Apart from particular occasions, bars hardly ever have lines you have to stand in.

Your Music

The music selections at nightclubs almost always consist of loud techno-type tunes. Modern dance music in addition to older dance classics can be heard at a club. Bar songs can consist of anything from classic rock to current top 40 hits. You can sometimes catch local live bands at a few bars.

Your Goal

If you want to spend the evening chatting with colleagues, a bar is the point for you. Most clubs are too loud to hear your pals speak. On the other hand, a nightclub is the master post to go if you simply want to dance all evening long and enjoy VIP seating.

Your Buddies

Are your buddy’s into dancing?” If so, a nightclub is probably the best place for your group. Otherwise, a group of people that prefer to hang out, watch football, and speak casually will prefer the ambiance of a bar.

Be sure to check out the Garrett Burke Entertainment website. We host the biggest events at some of the best nightclubs in Michigan. The best Michigan Entertainment Starts Here!!! Don’t forget to scope out our Bar Stop store, you can find cool college party ideas there.

Wine 101

Selecting a wine can be difficult without the proper know-how. Choosing wine may be more challenging when you are in a busy nightclub, and have to make a fast decision. Here are a few tips to assist you with choosing the correct glass or bottle of wine, or as a server, to help your clients choose.

Wine in general can be split into two categories: red wine and white wine. Red wine is heavier, while white wines tend to be sweeter. If you recall zero else, remember this old rule of thumb: red wines are finest for kick because the flavors stand up to the deep taste of the meat, while white wine is recommended for lighter dishes such as chicken and fish.

There are a wide mixture of different wines founded on the varieties of grapes that they are made from, and the processes that are in use to make the wine. Wines that are described as “dry” will be far less sweet, while wines that are described as “dessert wines” or “sweet” will be just that, sweet due to advanced sugar content. Dessert wines are master for dessert, but might be overly sweet for pairing with savory meals.

When selecting wine in a liquor store, you spend time perusing the wine bottle labels, but you might not have that opportunity in a nightclub. Stare over the wine list when deciding wine in a nightclub. Remember, that while the vintage of a wine means that it was the year it was bottled in, it does not always imply that an older wine is an amended choice. A fast trick is to stare on the menu for a 1990 vintage wine, as 1990 is considered by wine people to have been an all close to good year for wine.

I got another tip to implement when choosing wine on a nightclub’s wine menu. Look for wines that are described as “full bodied,” “medium bodied,” or “pale bodied.” This indicates the alcohol content level that the wine comprises. Alcohol is measured by percent of alcohol by volume, with full bodied wines containing over 12.5% alcohol by quantity. Lighter wines, or pale bodied wines, will contain as small as 7.5% to 10.5% alcohol by quantity. If you are the driver, get note of this measurement when deciding a wine.
